Through the Mozilla's Responsible Computing Challenge, I participated in the fellowship where I collaborated with a fellow student on two projects under the guidance of Professors Nathan Ryan and Sara Stoudt from the Mathematics department of Bucknell University. The aim of the program was to unite fellows from various fields and perspectives where they are encourage to examine technology's societal impacts and its broader implications.
Alongside a student co-researcher and Professor John Hunter from the Digital Humanities Department, I researched the influence of cell phones in 2010s international and domestic films/shows. I helped curate a selection of films for analysis, contributing to the exploration of how mobile technology shapes contemporary storytelling.
APIDA is a safe space for Asian Pacific Islander Desi American identifying students to build a community of support. This is also a place for other students who are interested in learning about the diverse cultures of APIDA students as well as exploring the issues that surround these communities. I have organized meetings, collaborations with other clubs, and our annual event -- APIDA 701 Night Market!
